So I'm going to try to follow logic here.
Jacksonville had a great year last year and BT is their #1 WR. And on a rookie deal with 5'th year control.
GB doesn't have a first round pick next year due to the Parsons trade. GB does have extra picks coming, possibly in the 3'rd round, assuredly in the 4'th round.
GB has 3 Wr's locked up for at least the next 3 years, possibly 4. And another 3rd round pick who is in his second year. And a vet who has produced at WR who is supposed to be the primary returner. And a promising 2nd year kid who spent the year on the PS.
And a TE who will get an extension that may make him the highest paid TE in the league. And possibly a DL who is playing on a 5'th year option who the team may want to extend as the DL is a weaker unit right now.
And GB is rumored to have interest in BT. I don't see it. Like at all. Not from any angle. They aren't blocking Golden from getting touches. They want to establish Watson as their #1. Reed is going to get his. Kraft is going to get his.
If Watson was going to play out that last little extension for one year, then that move would have made sense. Or if they hadn't extended Reed, then it would make sense.
But that is not what happened.
Rumors should be centered around veteran DE/EDGE players. That is what we need. Or...corners. Heck, gimme a vet OL/OT over a WR. Or even a backup RB. All of those are more believable than a WR.

Why would the Packers be interested in acquiring a WR when they have Watson, Reed and Golden under contract together for at least the next 3 years, if not 4?
Only rumors you should really feel are true should be around EDGE rushers. The rumor I've heard is that GB is tied to Clowney right now.

Yah, no real news. Last thing I heard was that his lawyer team hinted that they have a lot more visual evidence of the altercation.
Either way, I feel like we could use a better backup RB. Maybe what we have will work. But as I see things, that Seattle backfield looks crowded. And word out of their mini camp was that others looked a whole lot better than Wilson. If Wilson ends up being released, he's a guy we should look at bringing back.

Sweat is the better player of the three. And? He's the one that is going to cost draft picks as compensation.
I'd do Bosa and Clowney over Sweat, unless the asking price is a 4'th rounder. Then it's Sweat.
But I'd take either of the three and not be mad, because we really need a veteran edge rusher.
Wouldn't surprise me if the Packers were in on Decker. They could really use a veteran swing tackle. Decker fits that bill, if he wants that role and the salary that comes with it. Salary needs to be lower, as I see GB being frugal with their money. I'll bet a lot of it is earmarked for the inevitable Kraft extension. Then likely Wyatt after him.
