Maybe I'm remembering incorrectly, but seems they're usually around sometime around the first or second week of June.

I saw a pile of them last night!

Saw them in Sauk County on the 2nd! Seems early but they don't adhere to our calendar.

Havent seen any yet, still a bit early. Was it last year or year before they came out very early.

BTW theyre not fireflies theyre called Lightning Bugs

when i was a young kid we used to call them lighting bugs! Don't matter .

I've been seeing them occasionally in the back yard. Not a lot. Maybe 10 or so at a crack.

I have not seen a firefly in years. Maybe it's because I can't stay up past dark anymore 😵‍💫
