Sit the fence on....  New Riff Single Barrel.  Michters.  Jefferson's Ocean (depends on Voyage).  Angel's Envy.  Willet Pot Still Reserve.  Knob Creek.  Noah's Mill.  Stagg Jr (price).  Garrison Brothers Barrel Proof.  Remus Reserve.

Would not buy again....  Buffalo Trace.  Elijah Craig.  Driftless Glen.  Parker Hayes.  Old Granddad 114.  Weller Special Reserve (cost).  Burning Chair.  Garrison Brothers Balmorhea (cost).  Makers Mark.  Makers Mark Cask Strength.  Calumet Farms that is not 12 Year Black.

I still think it's grown on the south end of a northbound buffalo...

I didn't like it at first either.  It's grown on me.  I seem to like it better in the winter when I want a little more "sour" than sweet.  I know guys that love that stuff, so when I see it at a good price, I pick up a bottle or two for them, but I've had my same bottle for like two years now and it is only half gone.

To me, I put Buffalo Trace right next to Early Times BIB in taste.  I am not a fan of either one at all.

Buffalo Trace is a weird bottle.  Sometimes I see it for $28-$32.  Sometimes I see at $42-$52.
I didn't like it all when I first tried it.  Now?  7-8 years later?  It's fine.  Not one of my favorites, but fine.
I'm still working on a bottle that is 2 years old now, since opening.
I will say that there is a lot of better stuff out there, tons actually, but in that $35 range, it is a good bottle to have.

There's a local gas station mart I found to have buffalo trace.  The first time that I seen/noticed it, was $39.00 a bottle. I seen it again last week and it was now marked $59. This is for the smaller bottle too, wah!

That is one of the better bottles for the money out there!  I usually have a few opened up, but for some reason I'm dry on them right now.  May have to change that.....

I usually get my Evan Williams BIB at Woodmans. I think it's usually $23 for the 1L bottle. I think the 750ml is under $20. Cheapest bourbon ill buy but always in my cabinet. I can sip it neat now and then, mix it and I use it in recipes that call for bourbon.

Not great atpicking out all the flavor profiles, but seemed to finish on the sweet side.

I liked it more with the ice starting to melt a little.

Homewrecker, can you give a review of that bottle?  Looks very interesting!

I opened up a store pick (Amans) of Knob Creek Single Barrel.  Really hot.  Labeled as peanut brickle, didn't taste any of that.  Gonna let that one sit and mellow out for a while.
