Fathers Day!

What do all the dad's want for Father's Day this year? I'm getting the old man a Vexilar fl8 pro pack from The Bass Pro Shop. $199 ($299 normally) on clearance right now. That's a sweet deal. This will also help him catch more fish this ice season since his eyes are always glued to watching my flasher.

Nice project, I'd wonder how the powder coating would hold up to the heat it may flake off. 

I was thinking about getting it powder coated.  Would that be overkill?  Should I just use the black grill paint on it?  Not sure what powder coating will cost.

My boy who is going to school for engineering in the fall felt that anyone worth their salt should know how to weld.  So he took welding his senior year. He welded me a charcoal grill for FD and to get his A for the class.  Good boy! Nice welds.

happy fathers day to everyone.  spent day with inlaws and told stories about my dad with my boys and there kids . hes been gone since 1989 still miss him. 

Went to the cemetery to tell Dad Happy Fathers Day and say hi to Mom. Mrs. j2 want to say hi to her Mom at the Veterans Cemetery in the Grove so also gave Fathers Day wishes to my SIL 's Dad and uncle.
