I was curious enough to do a little reading. Errol Flynn  and Clark Gable were contemporaries. Gable born in 1901, Flynn in 1909 in Australia. Both careers took off in the early 1930's. They died a year apart, Flynn in 1959, Gable in 1960. Errol died with the liver of an 85 year old man. He was quoted as saying he "liked his whiskey old and his women young"!
