I just put my reservation in for the Ford F150 Lightning, cost me $100 down payment and if I ever take delivery I dont expect it for a couple years. Hey maybe something will change and I never take delivery. I got the ball rolling anyway.  Tesla maybe. For the money the Tesla truck is a superior product at a more affordable price than the F150.

When will Electric vehicles overtake gasoline vehicles?

... these major metropolitan places should put a bunch of these little EVs out on the streets like they do bikes.... put charging stations that will use a way to identify them and only charge registered vehicles... then expand to taxis, busses etc .... eliminates the major pollution centers

...and keep your hands off my combustion vehicles until you have a valid solution

If the farthest you go is your little or big city you live in, maybe fine(Not for me), but no way I’d waste my money on it with todays technology. No Way!!!  Lol

Interesting observation. I have been in Mesa, AZ the last two weeks. I walk 2 to 2-1/2 miles every morning and ride my bicycle 10-15 miles a day here. Been to a few parks, shopping, out to eat several times. I see fewer electric cars here, where they would be more practical than in the cold Midwest. Here, I see more cars that are 15 to 20 years old that are in great shape since they don't rust away like at home.

Flying cars might make good targets for lightning too.

Won’t flying cars make the heavier electrics obsolete?  Of course, I can think of a bunch of reasons flying cars are a bad idea.  Funny that a former POTUS wants to have them because they could likely fly right over a border wall.

Snake1= Leechster twin?

It would be interesting to watch whether the left lane remains the fast lane and what happens at overpasses and interchanges.  Driving during a strong wind may be quite the challenge.  Perhaps we will fly in V(ehicle) formations.

Alot of people have a tough enough time on a simple Round About. I hope none of these people get a flying car and have to figure out rules of the road in the air? Yikes.
I could imagine the skies of New York City.
