Well second game of the giants series this afternoon. Hopefully we can rectify the "No  Runs" syndrome  and get a victory today! GO CUBS!!!

Yes, what a come from behind victory!!!

Off day today and they travel to play the athletics tomorrow night. GO CUBS!!!

Well we got beat again tonight by those yard-birds. a new day tomorrow..

Well we'll see what the cubs can do against those yard-birds. Sure hope the results after  these next three games end up with condolences passed on LOL!

Got some good offense again last night.  I was watching it muted during my son's Scout meeting, so I missed a lot of the game, but I did see the replay on PCA's slide. He knew right away as he walked off the field that he was safe and he was already high fiving everyone in the clubhouse, lol!

The PCA slide into home was crazy.  Reminded of el-mago.  Was really fun.  Good win, good adding runs later in the game.

Hope we can take 2 of 3 vs the red birds this weekend.

Finally some offense last night! Still giving up the homer too often, but a 10-4 win is a good win!

No offense and bad pitching now. We now look like a last place team. Hopefully they turn it around soon! Injuries suck, but baseball is also a mental game. Someone needs to talk to this team!

I talked in an earlier post about CC's mishandling of PCA.  CC would be smart to watch/take notes how Pat Murphy responded to a question on Uribe making stupid gestures to the Cardinals dugout after the 8th inning last night.  That's how it is done.  

I've heard of Katy Perry syndrome before and this team has it.  They were hot, now they're cold.  

This is just not watchable.  Hoping they figure it out soon.  They have potential, but man, this last week plus has been bad.

Pedro Ramirez, Cub's Number 2 prospect is in Chicago today and has been called up from Trip A.  Where do we have room for him is the question?  He mainly plays third base and 2nd, which already both have two guys playing there. DH? We're covered there as well.  Welcome to the show, Ramirez!

I couldn't agree more with what you posted. I am a HUGE fan of PCA and the way he plays 99% of the time. I figured his offensive slowdown during the second half of last season as the league figured him out would help him "grow" as a player, I was wrong.
He's getting a bit of a comeuppance now and I hope he learns from it but I doubt it because as you said Counsell doesn't have the guts to really straighten him out and make him fly right !
