Just turned the game on. Assad Looks good so far and has some K's alreadty after 2 innngs. We need this win tonight so my previous post and picture holds up! GO YOU CUBS!!!

Gee Well thinking about it your way Z-Man,maybe that's a blessing in disguise. Too early to tell though. Was ready to post this picture after this week-end but now i wonder should i  since we did not play them any if at all. (raining here by me right now) Forget it ,I'll post the picture,sure hope it doesn't backfire on us. GO CUBS!!!

Doesn’t look real promising for the game. Looks like St. Louis has rain until after 8:30. Not sure they would start a game that late. 

If they reschedule the game to a later date, it would likely setup the 4 top pitchers for the Brewer series. Steele, Assad, Imanaga and Taillon.

Espn has the game but it's under rain delay. 
Instead they have women's college softball. 

Rough outing for Leiter.  Tomorrow's coming.

Have to agree Mr.G Our team needs to get on a winning streak by beating our Central dDevision teams one on one and then we go from there. i was going to post a picture tonight as to the outcome of tonights game,however I'm refraining for now.don't want to Jinx us!! GO CUBS!!

What'd ya know.......the Cubs took the lead in the top of the fourth!  Let's hope they can keep padding the lead and that the bullpen doesn't give this one away.  Taillon doesn't have his best stuff tonight but it might, just might, be good enough?
