 Chicago Cubs.. Where do we start

The guy with 10 at bats has never had a hit against him, but I get what you’re saying.
Given the fact that the Cubs haven’t faced this guy much, I think you have to go with the data that you have. We’ll see how it plays out, but I think it’s a good order to start with. Like you said, to each their own. I just want another win.

Numbers?!!  Only 1 cub has more than 4 at bats against that pitcher.  I wouldn't hang my hat on any of those numbers except maybe the guy that has 10 AB's.  This is the side of CC I've never liked or agreed with.  To each their own.

Gillespie, I think he’s done that with this lineup. Attached is the matchup with how the Cubs hitters have fared against Manaea. He tends to have control problems and I hope the Cubs are patient and wait for a good pitch to hit.

Not a fan of the batting order for tonight.  What ever happened with putting your best hitters at the top of the lineup and next to each other so pitchers can't pitch around them?  CC too much by the numbers and analytics for my liking.

Great win.  Both starters were excellent.  Clutch Morel hr.

No hit thru 7.  1 run in 8th, 2 runs in ninth and Cubs win 3-1.  Great pitching by both teams!

Great win in new York! No hit into the eighth and they come back and win 3-1!

Not the outcome we were hoping for, but they showed some grit coming from behind to make it a game. A couple of bad breaks can change the outcome of games when you’re playing a good team. Houck is one of the best pitchers in the league and it took 7 innings to crack it open. Other than Leiter Jr., the Cubs pitching was pretty solid. Palencia looked good in his first game back. I would like to see him move into the closer’s role with his velocity. 

On to the Mets and four games at Citi Field. Mets have started to play good baseball since their rough start. The good news is the Cubs probably won’t face Garrett in any of the four games.

Well it looks like our bullpen is going to blow it again.And they sure did 5-4 Boston wins on a walk off bloop single. Thank you Mr. Leiter for your performance tonight! Got to re-group for the Mets. GO CUBS.

Good fight, just not enough.

Wow Cubs were down going into the 8th inning tonight 4-1 but got a 3 run homerun to tie the game. Hopefully we can push across anther run or two and get out of Fenway with a victory tonight. GO CUBS!

Jordan Wicks scratched as the Cubs starter tonight in the final game against Boston. Hayden Wesneski will get the start instead
