Real music. Big band and all the way to Deal, Dean Martin of course. Wife and I can't get enough of 40's on 4 XM. New name now I believe. Not to mention this era had some of the best movies of all time.

Of course Andrews sisters, and they teamed up with many others.

Dick Haymes a very good saxophone player. "I've got a gal from kalamazoo" Remember that one? Also can't forget the Andrew Sisters and the Modernaires.

Dick Haymes, one of those few people who do not need music accompaniment. Big Louie Armstrong. Not to forget Bing also. Sweet music to sit on the deck with your betroved and relax at the end of the day. Nothing wrong with a good cigar and cocktails also.

Never miss the Lawrence Welk show on PBS Saturdays at 5:00. An autographed copy of his trumpet player Rocky Rockwell hangs on my wall in the man cave and an autographed copy of Lawrence's autobiography is on my bookshelf.
