Soft bait hooks

I bought some plastic shads that look incredibly realistic and want to try casting them like a crankbait if possible. What hook can I use that would have a little weight and not be a whole rig? Drop-shotting isn't possible for what I am looking to do.

You say dropshotting isn't possible. A screw lock spun into the nose of the plastic that toggles and shimmies loosely on the bend of a single drop shot hook  might still work in lots of situations.
