Has anyone bought or built rod carriers?  I have seen some online, but a lot look flimsy.  Any suggestions?

I second Sch. 10 PVC pipe. Drill a hole, thread and knot a small piece of rope to help pull the cover off. Good for 6-8 rods.

I use PVC pipes with an end cap cemented to one side and a screw off fitting on the other
