Okuma Convector Problem

Two of my convectors have an issue when reeling in. The part that is supposed to slide back and forth on that bar doesn’t slide sometimes and line gets built up on that spot.  Any quick fixes or is the reel shot?

Yep, easy fix at a basic reel repair shop, or give Okuma a call send it in and they will fix it for you

The screw might be loose that holds it in , might be all thats wrong.

Sounds like the pawl is shot.  There should be a screw underneath than line winder.  Open that up and the pawl should drop out.  Take it to a repair shop and they can give you a new one to put in there.  It is an easy fix if you can find the pawl that you need.
