Hello,

I fish pool 11 on the Mississippi, I want to try some night fishing for cats.

I know I need the colored bow and stern lights, but what do you recommend for "driving" lights, or a light out in front to see "floaters" ect.

Thanks

I just got a 12inch led light bar that I am going to make removable for the front of my boat, I'm not sure about it being 100% by the book but the dnr does not mess people when they use them duck hunting so why would summer time be any different? I will still have red and green and a hand held spotlight for scanning. And I don't want to beat a dead horse but a life vest, the older I get the more I wear them but I have always wore them at night.

You can put a buddy up on the bow with an LED spotlight. I usually reserve night fishing for when the river is lower and later in the summer. Less chance of a log taking out your lower unit.
