Where to stay to ice fish Lake Winnipeg

I am going to Lake Winnipeg for a big greenback in three weeks.  Never been there before,  I have hired a guide for the first two days.  Looking at a map there do not appear to be too many places to stay near the lake.  Has anyone who has ice fished the lake got any suggestions?  It appears there is an Indian Casino near the south shore, has anyone stayed there?  Any help would be appreciated.
