The only "illegal" way to get rid of fish guts is to put them back in the water. And that only pertains to Ontario I believe. If you are at a camp no problem, dispose in their fish cleaning facilities. If at a wilderness camp, bears are the issue so what ever keeps you safe
Canada will drop its Covid-19 vaccine requirement for visitors by September 30, government officials have told Canadian news outlets. On the same day, the country is reportedly also going to end random Covid arrival tests and make the ArriveCan app optional.

Kona & Fishhook, you say that's the way you've always done it, but that doesn't mean it's right. I'm not being critical, I'm just trying to find out the legal way to do this, but thanks anyway. We've done it that same way for years, but are now being told that it's illegal so I want to find out the proper, legal way.
We do the exact same thing that kona77 does while at our outpost camp.
"We always put fish guts on an island/rock slope for the gulls and Eagles. Keep them as far away from camp as possible so you do not attract any bears close to your camp. Most of the outposts camps we have fished have local gulls/eagles that will even monitor/watch you and they usually have them cleaned up in short order".
