fisher boats
Question though (and I may have the time line screwed up), but did you say that AFTER you had a local guy weld the boat, you THEN contacted Tracker and requested a full refund? Bad dealership or not, I think I would have contacted the manufacturer for warranty information immediately and not wait for the problem to be "fixed" first.
Maybe you got a good deal on your 3rd boat because the dealership wanted to off-load their non-selling inventory?
You hit it right on the head. I could lay out the whole horror story, but there would be some that would think I was exaggerating. It was the the worst buying experience of my life. I actually sold the boat after everything was corrected, because every time I went out in it, I saw the salesman's face. I cannot believe that they can stay in business.
Spend as much time checking out dealers as you do selecting what boat you want to buy.
I hope this season goes better for you. I feel your pain. There is nothing like being in Wisconsin and not being able to get on the water for weeks at a time. It just about drove me nuts!
Oh, the good dealer was in Princeton and the bad one was in Racine. I hear they have a winner for a mayor too.
I had a Fisher boat for 5 years. Yes, the hull split. I probably wouldn't take another one if somebody gave it to me. A used alumicraft, lund, crestliner, etc is far more of a value than a new fisher or tracker.
