Appleton yamaha outboard service

Hey guys. I am looking for a quality, reputable dealer/marine mechanic that can work on a 2001 f115 4 stroke. I am pretty open to most places in the Appleton area but want someone that I can trust and build a relationship with for my marine needs. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I think if you google any marina you will find a number of complaints, for some reason it's the nature of the business. Maybe it's because they seem to expect more than other consumers. That being said I've had great results with Anchor Marine.

Spellman's Marina in Oshkosh. Have had nothing but good experiences there.

Have had very good service form Dave's Sport Marine in Kaukauna. Guys are very friendly and offer great advice for routine maintenance.

Several years ago took my 40 hp Mariner to Anchor Marine. Had a significant loss of power and would not get up on plane. Said I need a carb rebuild. $375.00 later and they said all was well. Took the boat out and it ran no better. Took it back and then they said plugged exhaust ports and cleaned them. Another $350.00 and it did run some better but still not good. Took it elsewhere and they had to fix the carb rebuild. Ran like new after another shop fixed it correctly. Argued about having to pay for a carb rebuild I did not need and was told, politely at least, "to bend over". Actual comment from the service writer was "your boat motor is old enough to need a carb rebuild anyway". It was about 10 years old.

I will second Anchor Marine, the team there have been great to work with and have done outstanding work on my 75 hp Yamaha when needed.

Boat Doc in Lomira has been great for service. Bit of a drive, but worth it

Anchor Marine has been very good to me, I cannot complain about the service Rick has given me. I have a 2001 80hp Yam, 4 stroke.

Anybody have any service work done at Mid-State Marine in Fremont?

Check out Dave's Sport & Marine in Kaukauna, outstanding smaller family owned and operated business that I've had great dealings with. It's not far out of Appleton at all and we'll worth the short drive.
