Any comments on Shorelandr vs. Karavan vs. EZ Loader? Or others? Going to be buying a new bunk trailer for my 16.5' Alumacraft (old trailer has too many small issues…fixing them all adds up to close to cost of new). Never done this, wondered if anyone had experience (good and bad) buying a new trailer for old boat from a dealer. I have a 20-yearold Karavan now…not too crazy about the bunk supports. Too many nuts and bolts that shake loose over normal use…bunks are always splaying left and right.

Thanks

Shorelander or EZ Loader would be my preference. If you are going through a dealer then I would buy what they recommend and can help with the change over.

For me, it is similar to new outboards, the main players all make decent trailers, so pricing would be one of the bigger factors.

Have you looked on ebay? If not you may want to consider it. Lots of decent used trailers out there. You may be able to save yourself a buck or two.
