Can anyone out there tell me if the lower unit from an '08 optimax 115 hp will fit on a 2017 merc 115 hp 4 stroke. Or maybe someone out there knows a qualified mechanic to call. THANKS

If you have serial numbers from both you could compare the lower unit part numbers at mercurypartsexpress.com
