MW Marine found it somewhere up north from some dealer.. I believe it cost $175.. and fortunately because I bought three boats from them they put it in the same day they got it even though they have a month wait for repairs.

Where’d they find the tank Gill - is it new.

Just curious as I have an E-Tec too, curious on part availability.

Thanks for all the input but MW Marine is getting me a tank this week and hopefully we'll get it on otherwise I was going to try that JB weld.

Gill, if the plastic is cracked, go to you tube and search plastic welding. Maybe you could repair the one you have. JB weld as already suggested might work also. I had a crack in a riding lawn mower gas tank that I repaired using a solder gun to melt the plastic. It held up and doesn't leak.

Yep I'd try JB-Weld

if you know where it is leaking one could try J.B. weld. Fixed a couple plastic gas tank seams with it and worked well.

I see there are multiple units available on Ebay. Priced at $175 and up. Before I left Evinrude I was able to find most parts I needed on Ebay or Marine Parts .com

Good Luck
