When your motor isn't completely burning all of the oil up, is it ok to make the mixture a little leaner?  My brother in law's 15 HP Johnson (mid-late 80's model) has some exhaust oil still leaking down at the propeller almost a year after I used it.  Opened up the lower unit just to make sure there's no leaks there...It looks good, oil is still blue.

1978 Johnson two stroke, betting oil just not getting completely burned.  Kind of like them old Harley's there's always a puddle of oil.

Could be your 2 cycle oil isn't burning off totally in combustion. I don't think it's anything to worry about. It could be too rich of a mixture of gas/oil.
