Does anyone have a Motor Guide trolling motor with a remote pedal? Do  you like it? Is it reliable? Any problems with it? would  you buy another? How is costumer service if you have problems? Thanks for your reply.

I used one for 4 years. My main gripe is that it would eat batteries, even faster if you forgot to turn it off.Carry extra batteries, you will need them. Most issues with this pedal were with connectivity, you need strong batteries to maintain sync.

Yes I have one and can't stand it. Takes up too much room on the floor of the boat. Much rather use the hand held remote and do yourself a favor and buy an extra.

Do you mean the blue tooth pedal for the ix3 or ix5?  If so, I looked into it and the reviews on Amazon didn't look good enough for me to justify the money.  I was really thinking about it. There are times I would prefer a foot pedal to a fob, for sure.  Easier to keep reeling.
