Now that I put my rig in the garage Ive been thinking about the mouse urine problem.  Are there any thoughts about swabbing some cotton with Fox urine and putting it in a couple of the boats storage areas?        CARPIO

I used the bounce dryer sheets and they just made a nest out of them.

I have used dryer sheets with good and bad results.... and some times stayed away but last year had few dryer sheets with holes chewd right through them...

also were in trucks not boats but I don't think that would matter..

I put dryer sheets in every compartment before storing. Do date, I have not had one chewed wire. And my boat is stored in an old machine shed with no concrete floor so there are definitely mice around.

I do the Peppermint oil & Irish Spring soap. No mice since I started this, plus it smells great in spring.

had success with fox urine and woodchucks, was instant, not sure about mice

it is quite pungent, so you want to be careful

no experience with dryer sheets, but that has been around for a long time, probably the stinkier the better... moth balls is another deterrent

peppermint is another... googled

X2 on dryer sheets and also Irish spring soap, they don't seem to care for it.

Put a sheet of Bounce fabric softener in every storage area and especially near any wiring. Mice hate it and won’t nest near it. Even the generic versions work fine.

I would guess a mouse is not deterred by the smell of canine urine or are they?   Predator urine has been used on deer with only mixed results.
