Well, gonna give it one last try on Wednesday or Thursday while the weather is nice, then it's time to put her to sleep for the season, just going to get too cold to be comfortable out there.

I almost surely fished today. This warm weather and rain with low pressure. I am sure I woudl have caught some northern on Big Cedar Lake . Had to work too late , and tired and worn out.

I changed the motor lower unit gear lube on my Lund fishing boat last night and finished winterizing it.

My 16 ft duck hunting boat will be ready to go until there is ice on the lakes.  I have fished out of that boat numerous times this year and caught muskies, pike, walleyes, bass, and panfish out of that....plus hunting of course.

Go fish the Mississippi. A few times out there in the 20s, you'll see why you put it away when the time comes from now on.

Brent, my boats still ready to,  but alas, I think I'll have to winterize the motor after Thanksgiving, I'll have to look at the long range weather report. I'm limited to the lakes that still have docks in tho.

Just put the duck skiff away, that’s always the last boat to go down for a winter nap…

Yes, but I wouldn’t put Dead minnows or rotten crawlers in my boat to lay it up for the fall lol

I used to put mothballs to keep the mice away, now just cheap lavender scent, works better, and smells a whole lot better

It actually wasn’t bad...

That cheap lavender does have a strong scent, but it mellowed out nicely over the winter. It actually smelled like a warm summer breeze LOL!
