I have a 2004 Shorland'r roller trailer for my 14' boat. Today, my buddy accidentally jack-knifed the trailer and bent the tongue in a 45 degree angle. The tongue is removable, and I plan on fixing it myself. Does anybody have an idea how much a replacement tongue from Shoreland'r might cost? I can buy tube steel and drill the needed holes/paint it for less than $100. Thanks.

Jimmy

Just a thought throwing it out there if you want to save some time and money

People been using the roll on bedliner for trucks on their trailers

I'm waiting on a quote from Shoreland'r for a new tongue, plug and play. If the $$$ is prohibitive, I will buy some steel and fab it out. I know a guy who can powder coat it for me too. A 3"x3"x96" stick is about $60. It really was my buddy who bent it. I'd be more than happy to take the credit if it was me. Everybody screws up once in a while, myself included.

"My buddy" did it?   That's ok, we've all done stupid things.  haha.  Sounds like how I would have phrased it.  Anyways, best of luck with your repair.

That is quite a long piece of three by three tubing

Your best price for something that long would be to buy it from a steel tube distributor I see there's one in Milwaukee they normally will cut to length you need
