Looking for advice guys. Getting up in age and looking to put some kind of steps to get in and out of boat. I looked at ezsteps. Hoping to find some one in Wisconsin that mounts them . Any ideas I would appreciate.

Carpio did you get the Alumacraft ones? Did your dealer install?

alumicraft has them available for their rigs but I suppose anyone can purchase them.    I had them put on my rig.        About 300$.       CARPIO

I have EZsteps also. I don't know why I waited so long to get them. It makes getting boat out of the water so much safer.

I believe they are rated at 350, but I could be wrong. I weigh in at 240 and there is no bounce or give when I go up and down them. DanM

pete mania? I think is how u spell his name, hes always on the john Gillespie fishing show advertising some one who makes them in WI

I forgot what there called but if you watch his show or go to his pages maybe you'll find them. they look very well built, I see them on the show all the time as he advertises them, normally right before or after commercial

I put Ezee Steps on my trailer last season and love them. Much safer than over the gunnel, on to the spare tire and then the trailer.

EZ Steps are great.  I don't have them myself, at home I just have a 4' step ladder that I use.  My next boat and trailer will have the EZ Steps

This is a different idea and maybe won't apply, but my boat came with a swim ladder on the back.  I just use that to go up and down, sort of duel use out of it.

At Home I have a little 2 step folding kitchen ladder that works great for getting in and out of the boat, I don't think I paid more that $20 for that ladder. If I am out fishing and someone needs to get in the boat, I usually have my son, who is a lot younger or some of the kids that can climb like monkeys to get in the boat. It may come to a point in time where I have to drag that little ladder around in the truck when I go fishing in the future !!

Ain't it fun getting old ???

There are a lot of models out there.  When I've been in the MW Marine showroom they have some attached to their trailers.  They seem interesting to me.  I've got a Ranger and so far I'm okay with getting in and out, but as I get older, I'll certainly be looking at these.

I have Ezee steps on my trailer and they are great.  Much easier than trying to climb over the trolling motor and balance on the trailer tongue.
