I also attended the UW Class on Lake Tomahawk in 2003 and stayed at the Kemp's Natural Resources Center. The Lodge was built while the FBI was chasing Al Capone and used as it's headquarters. Truly where I learned to Walleye fish! Under the classroom where the docks are was full of huge crappies.

Scott F. I've been in that one. Back in about 1993, my brother and I took a DNR sponsored course through the UW called Walleye Fishing Tactics and Techniques. It was a 4-day course and we stayed at the Kemp Natural Resources Station. It's an old log cabin complex donated to the UW. (https://kemp.wisc.edu/ ). We learned and fished a lot. Taught by fisheries biologists who were avid fishermen. The class room was the space in the upstairs of the boathouse. Sadly, they don't offer the course anymore. It was quite an experience.
