1989 100 HP Evinrude (E100STLCE-XP (X1)

What are my chances I can sell this motor on EBay, Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. The motor runs fine and everything works with the exception the VRO has been removed (gas and oil mixed manually). I want to repower the boat with something newer. NADA is $650-$750. Anybody think I can get that or should I just trade it in and let the Marine dealer worry about it. I'm thinking older 2 strokes are just not going to demand much of a price these days. Anybody have any thoughts on this???

Hmm did not think of that. Well with that said probably best to sell the motor while it's running good. Talked to a couple dealers. They are not much interested in 30 year old motors. Probably go the online route.

It's possible it might be worth more in parts?That was the case with my Yamaha 50.If the gearcase is good,that alone should get a decent price.Many guys out there are still hanging on to 2-strokes for ease of repairs.
