I am in need of a reasonably priced taxidermist near Waukesha. Can anyone provide a recommendation? Thanks!

I think people should not base their decision on location. I may not drive 10 hours, but I would drive 3 or 4 to get the best job I could within my budget.

Tomlinson hands down! He's done 7 or 8 deer between me and my dad and we've also recommended family and friends and nobody i know has ever been disappointed with his work!

I said reasonable, not cheap. Geez. I'm going with Tomlinson. Sounds like he does great work.

A deer head will be hanging on your wall for many, many years is this really the place you want to look for reasonably priced or do you want the best you can find? 5 years from now the extra $100 it cost to get it done by someone great will be well worth it as opposed to looking at a poorly mounted head on the wall.

Check out Dave Brehm taxidermy out of East Troy. He has a display area where you can see his work.

Drive to Watertown and take him to Joel Hilgendorf. "Reasonably priced" can be defined several ways. With Joel, you will not be disappointed. Taxidermy is not the time to bargain shop.

Randy Tomlinson has done a few for me. He did most of the heads at Gander Mountain 262-470-2100
