Acorn crop? Hickory nut crop?

Just a little observation as summer ends tomorrow. Was wondering what others are seeing. Last year was a crazy bumper crop year.

I am in the Wautoma area in Wisconsin. Little or no acorns or hickory nuts. Squirrels are hitting my crab apple tree for food already. Could be a long winter for the critters around here.

I live in Douglas county . At our place , the squirrels have been cutting since late August . A good crop of acorns , not like last year but plenty to eat for wildlife .

Hardly any acorns here in Washington CTY.. Hunted opening week in Marinette and Marquette Cty's and same reports in those area's.. Have seen some hickory trees dropping this year but far from a banner year. Agreed that acorns seemed to be heavy all over the state in 2019..

I'm in the same area  , noticed the same thing . Even the nut trees I planted  (tallest)   about 20 ft . No nuts  , but a good crop of pears . About a half bushel  I have to pick tmorrow , before the deer get them .
