Best non puncturing cull clips

I have the old ardent ones. Love them, but they puncture. I want to adapt clips. Most clips I’ve researched have some bad reviews. Maybe I’ll just but some alligator clips at the hardware store. 

i have both the ardent and rapala clip ones both are great
