I fish Lake Dubay in Central Wisconsin and I've had a tough go finding consistent bass. Couple questions 1. Do lakes with high predator populations (walleye, musky, northern) struggle to hold bass? 2. Will other species bite on an Arkie Bass Jig? It'd be nice to catch something while i'm searching for bass

Cat Man J.J.  The best bass we've caught on Dubay was in 14 ft. of water with a minnow. So I would say your assessment is right

I took a look at this lake and it's such a complex fishery there a tons of different variables that could effect bass locations and population. One thing that did stand out by reading the lake reviews is this lake has a ton of walleye in it along with a bunch of other game fish that all compete for the same food for the most part. If the bass are off shore mix with walleye chasing schools of minnows it would be hard to find and catch them for example.

Not a good bluegill population really at all. Honestly i don't know if I've ever really caught one there
