The Classic's getting pretty close, who are you picking to win this year? I'm going to go with Mike Icconelli, he always seems to be in the hunt!

It's on Lake Hartwell this year.

Didn't they use to have it on at night on Tape delay the same weekend as the tournament? Have the weigh in live on Sunday?

He popped one just a touch under 6lb. Decent lead, too.

With the expected temps, I'd be willing to bet someone from the northern part of the country would win. Northern guys are much more used to success in brutally cold conditions...guys like Ike or Remitz(if he's in...I haven't checked the list lately) would have an advantage IMO.

I really like that the classic is being run in tougher conditions, it really helps separate the competition. I always hated it when they had it during absolute prime conditions on spectacular lakes when any clown can bring in 25lb...I think luck plays a bigger roles in those conditions, and I don't like that to be a factor...just my opinion anyway.

Starts tomorrow, should be an awesome show. The Rapala Pro's are really pushing the new Shadow Rap, a new suspending jerk bait that has more side to side action than forward moving action. I look for it to play a big part in this tournament.
