Bass are Dumb - Here's video proof

There's a swamp pond near my house with a few big ones, but mostly dinks.  The dinks are aggressive.  So aggressive in fact that I caught one ice fishing with just a hook.  The thing bit before I could put a minnow on.

That's how I catch big perch when they become tight lipped. No bait just a red or brass treble hook.

I would not say they are dumb. I did have one while ice fishing come up through the home about 12 in of ice to the roach just on the surface as we were setting up.
