2025 season

Perfect afternoon to sit yesterday. No sightings from stand but soaked up some vitamin D. Saw my no. 1 target buck in another cutcornfield after close.  Only took 102 days. Looks like wait 'til next year!

Had an incredible season, I took a doe the end of September and since I’ve seen and passed on the most 8-10 point bucks in a season ever. It’s been fun watching but time is getting limited so when I grunted this guy in I was more than pleased to take him last evening.

Did a little mid-season scouting and found a boatload of fresh sign! Multiple rubs, shapes and ple ty of droppings

Saturday morning sit for 2 hours, saw no deer. Tried a different stand for the evening sit and this 8 pointer came out at 6:30. My first buck with a crossbow!

Going out tomorrow for the first time this season, mainly to setup trail cams and get my blind ready for gun season.  We always set our tent blinds up early so the deer get used to them.  Wish I could use a compound bow like many of you do, but my shoulder got messed up 6 or 7 years ago and I don't have much strength left.  I don't have a bicep tendon anymore in my right arm, and it's difficult to lift things or pull.  So I am grateful Wisconsin allows crossbows!

My sit Sun. PM produced sightings on 11 deer total. 8 does& fans then 3 small bucks the last 
half hour
