Had a little year and a half come in at 7am ish... Downwind and crossed walk in path and kept going... Cool to experience ground hunting in a marsh/crp area... Later went to check a cam close in area and got within 40 of a small doe with the sun at my back... Good check I'll be trying to hunt that area after working this weekend 2 nice bucks around there just no daylight pics will have to gameplan to move in close to suspected bedding provided they aren't in the corn there... All public land se wi..  tight(bow)strings and good luck everyone this season. I'm pumped!

I haven't been out in a while but my uncle has been out quite a bit.  He's been seeing a bunch some days and nothing on others.  Very inconsistent and nothing decent has come within range.  I'm taking vacation on Friday - Monday the next two weekends and plan on going out every day.  Hopefully we get something down soon.  Marquette County

waupaca co: saturday PM, after reports of bucks running wild and one down per my land neighbor, I decided to head out brung the wife with me in the big stand and it was a gorgeous night, about 5:30 we hear some movement and a small spork comes trotting past, was cool to see some action not a minute later I hear something look out the window and heres a buck goin ham on a pine tree sapling, I grab the trusty old cross bow and let one fly, thump!  he turns walks 20ft down the trail and tips over.  woo hoo!  Been awhile for me with the bow so Im just tickled and to have my wife along she got to see the process from start to finish which was great!

nice lil basket 8pt but will be great eating!  time to get a doe or two hopefully!

Barron County. Been seeing little ones all week. Waiting for a 20 yard broadside shot. Left my stand last night and this guy showed up five minutes after I left. Haven’t been back yet to check on my blind. I’ve had two destroyed in the past.

Great job Polski. Count me in for the freezer club.

Feels good getting it done before the weather turns sour. I've been seeing good buck sign for weeks now. Hard to pass up broadside 20 yards. Dropped at 40 yards. Lacrosse county

Got lucky with the sharp sticks tonight, went about 80 yards. Meat in the freezer tomorrow.

Saw a bucket 8 pointer chasing a doe this morning. He definitely has had a sip of the Kool-Aid. Looked like the doe just wanted to be chased. Did see my first scrape and rubs of the season.

Southern Adams Co, sat last night nada.  Went back this morning and had a small spike come in before light and an almost 8 pointer at 8 AM.  Got some nice photos and had an enjoyable weekend.

Checked out my hunting ground yesterday, its going to be awhile. No rubs or scrapes, not much activity on camera. Didn't even bother to put up my ground blind. Taking grandson over next weekend, he's ready too go. We might be looking at a late season, need a frost and some cool weather.
