Lots of bears on camera again this year.  I wish it didn't take so long to get a tag for Zone B.  Have a few nice bucks on camera this year.

My buddy's place in Kentucky. Hopefully they hang around this year till I can get there. Bow hunted there the last 5 years, last year never saw a deer???

One thing to add, remember it is summer and they have thinner coats than what we would typically see once it cools down and they swell up for the rut. That can easily make an older deer look younger.

Dave, I would estimate that to be a 3.5 year old. Tough pic to judge age from. The neckline appears to meet right at the base of the brisket but no back droop. You cant typically age a deer based on his antlers. I shot a nice 9 point several years ago and had the biologist age him from his teeth and said he was 17 months old! If i would have known that i never would have killed him. He would have been a stud. Only probably 90-100 inch deer but for a 1.5 yr old that is huge.

IDK Dave.  Looks like a long-legged, smaller bodied deer.  But that’d be one hell of a 2.5 year old.

I think there is a habit of hunters under-aging deer.  Everything big is 3.5 and if it isn’t huge it’s 2.5.

I’d guess 3.5 solely based on antler.  If he’s 2.5 he’ll be a booner if he makes it a couple years.
