OJ, that's a heck of a buck and still in velvet, good luck gettin him. Good luck to all the LLer's this weekend.

Myself I'm heading to my ol buddy's place in Kentucky where I got my best ever two years ago, 154 in velvet.

Thanks!  I did consider it possibly being a woodpecker. Never had a pecker conflict damage like that on a cam. Makes sense thou in the small recessed area where the lense is.

I saved another pic that i couldnt make sense of either.

Fowler. Woodpecker is your culprit I'm betting. I have one that looks identical. I watched him do it to mine.

Backyard cam. Strange damage. ....looks like an antler direct hit?  Never seen this happen before on a cam. Camera went offline shortly after as the batteries were knocked loose.  Camera still works, did a little rework on the sensor lense. 

Not a good pic of the deer perp but i dont see a Doe inflicting that damage in that tight spot where the plastic lense is. Rather dense plastic too. Interesting.

Had a camera out by my nephews place the last few days. No big bucks but got this pic with 7 deer in one picture. Acorns are really starting to fall and they are all over them, should not be a problem filling my doe tags here.
