My vote is for cougar. I saw one a long time ago cross Pine River road about 100 yards in front of me. Thought I was seeing things until I got up to the spot and it was standing about 50 yards in the woods staring at me and then slowly walked off. Good size one and the tail was probably 24-30” long.

On a different note, just checked a bunch of cameras and I had a quite a few bucks moving morning, noon and night from about Oct 13th to Oct 18th. Anyone else see this? Just curious if there was something to it. Now the cameras have been dead.

Yep, could be a cougar.  I see that.

That's a cougar. The ears are shorter and more rounded off than a bobcat. The little hump behind the neck is like a cougar. Checked pics on Google images.

I agree with 870.  Looks like a bobcat to me as well.

Some of the smaller deer don't mind being out in the middle of the day. Juneau Co. 8 miles north of Necedah.
