When the deer find your "hidden" camera (not my pic).

Thanks guys, I actually saw him on Friday night. Never came closer than 100 yards but very cool to see. Early Retirement - he's only got 9 points, not a 10. Let's just hope I can lay my hands on him at some point to get an official reading... haha. Good luck everyone!

Edit: 9 + the kicker.. sorry.

Fulldraw- I'd guess that buck grosses around 147".  Good luck!

hard to tell with the pic..   is there only four on the right and 6 on the left?  If there is 5 on the right 152.... otherwise 145 should be close...... like you said.. shoot him either way, then score it and let us know.     youth hunt and a cold have me on this damn computer and not in a tree.

I also agree, 145" is pretty close. If he had the symetrical 10th point on the right side i would say low 150's. I think it is probably a 4.5 yr old though.

I noticed that, i tried fixing the size but was unable to. Thanks for your input!

Fulldraw-  The pic shows up pretty small so it's kind of hard to judge accurately, but from what I can tell I'd say your 145" guess is pretty accurate.  As for age I'd lean 4.5 or more.  He has a big body and some sag.

I'm not trying to be that guy, or start any arguments. Just generally curious as to what some opinions are on this deer - he's showing up pretty regularly and haven't seen him on the hoof yet. This type of rack is probably a #1 hitlister of all time for me. What do you think he'd score / age is? Not that it will make a difference if i would let one fly or not, lol, like i said -- just looking to get some opinions.

I have looked at it a bunch, and he's got a decent size belly area but a part of me thinks this is a stud of a 3.5 YO, 145" is my thought? Thanks!

I don't think you missed the acorn phase, its just getting going.  This is the best red oak/black oak acorn years in southern Adams for a while.  The bucks are all over the acorns right now.

Good luck to all.

A few of my better bucks. Just got to checking cams this weekend. Was pleasantly surprised.

That looks like a mountain lion or wolf to me, possibly a cross between the two.
