I've been bow hunting the last 5 years at my friends place in Kentucky. He sent me these pics today. He saw one buck a few days ago that lost one side so shed season should be coming soon. And yes baiting is legal in Kentucky until the Turkey season starts. My friend is disabled and only hunts with his cameras now, checking his cameras is part of his daily routine while taking his dog for a run.

earlyretirement - video from your 12/13 post below, first buck on video....what is on the bucks hide?  First thought it was burrs or warts.  Looked closer and then I thought his winter coat falling out...ha!!  My eyes are terrible!!   Maybe you have the answer....Thanks!  Great videos!

I agree with that for the most part.  Just the opposite I have a couple stealth cams that took good pictures and batteries lasted great. Switched it to video mode and it looks like an old tv from the 70's with rabbit ears, but those are pretty cheap cameras too from what i see.   40's next week might slow the ice fishing..   time to climb back in the tree with the bow perhaps   blurry pics and vids is the price you pay for placing cameras on public..  can't risk losing to much money.

I also woudn't do any WGI cameras for still shots.  That is unless you really like blurry pictures and want to guess if those are branches or antlers.  Many of them work fine on video, but I've yet to find one that takes a clear picture unless everything is 100% still.

sure... vast majority of those are cheap ebay used wild game innovation cameras.... although I am all about cheap cameras out on the public... so I also have some stealth cameras, muddy cameras and tasco cameras...  no preference for me but whatever ya do don't get a wildgame innovation cloak pro 12 camera (3 of the 4 of those I got do not work... battery sucking pigs)

Yeah, that deer is 140's all day.  If he has decent brows you just cant see in the photos, he could touch 150" gross.
