I keep a record of all the Pike I catch on google Earth maps.  I add a waypoint were I got it and the date and well as water and weather conditions plus the lure I caught it on.  I put the main info in the header on the top and all the rest of the info in the comments below. So any time at a later date you can right click your waypoint and it will display all the comments.  I also put info like where there is a shallow spot that could be a hazard or sunken tree or rock.  So for the past 6 years, I have been keeping records of my 4 favorite pike spots on Google Earth. With dates, location, weather, the weight, sometimes the length and girth, and what bait I caught it on. So every time I catch a fish I log it into the records with all the info. Looking over this data I have found a lot of patterns I was not aware of. I added up all the fish caught and put them in a weight chart. I thought this was petty interesting so I wanted to share this info. Here are the stats from my 4 best spots. This it not all the fish I caught in the last 6 years but probably 65 % of them at least.

That's 469 total fish caught and 29 Pike over 20 lbs. in the last 6 years from these 4 spots. I also fished a lot of other places, but as far as I can remember  I only got 2 or 3 fish over 20 lb. at any of the other places I fished in the last 6 years, but I didn't keep records of all the fish from those spots.
