I am looking to buy the jacket and bibs but would like to try them on as i heard that they run on the big side.I am 6'2" and go about 240#. Any info on where to get these in the Neenah,Appleton area? Are they as good as they claim to be?I like the fact that they float, as I tend to get a little adventerous at times.lol

I don't know how well refrigeware is made these days , but it is not a knock off of carhart, it was developed for people working in walk in freezers and is or was much warmer than carharts, carharts are made for rough work areas and are great for what they are made for I wore them for 30 years, refrigeaware is what I wore Ice fishing these days I wear ice armour and or arctic armour have 3 or 4 different but similar brands arctic armour tho is designed to float for a half hour or so . I am having the leg zippers changed out and moved higher up the leg not impressed with the ones it came with.
I got my AA suit 2 years ago and it happened to arrive on one of the coldest days that year. I went outside in the evening - was about -20 (not windchill - straight up temp) and sat in a lawnchair for about 20 minutes then took a walk down the street (about another 10 minutes). I never got cold except the area around my eyes. Can be uncomfortably hot if you have to walk to your fishing spot pulling your gear and if you do any hand drilling. Just open up the top or just take it off if you have too. Great for fishing on your knees too, has good padding and waterproof so no wet knees.
i wouldnt waste you money on artic armour you want warm cloths check out refrgiwear some what of the same duarable material but way warmer. i use it for working in the winter ( my company bought everyone bibs and jacket) and cold days out fishing. its worth the money. check it out.
I have the green/gold plus jacket and last time out noticed a rip on the armpit area. Does anyone know what is the best way to patch/sew this while still keeping the integrity of the suit? I've emailed idi directly with no response yet. Any help would be great, love this suit and want to fix it before it rips further. Thanks! Slushy
Thanks guys, emails are always replied back to asap and a better way to contact me than by using the messenger here. Anyone needing to try some on or find me, my website guy put a locator map on my website so it should make it easier to hunt me down! I know that Dicks and Scheels are shown as dealers also but it looks like neither of them are stocking it in the Green Bay/ appleton area this year.
smalliestalker,
Blindhunter (Troy) is a legit dealer for IDI and several other clothing manufacturers. I have purchased 3 Arctic Armour pieces from Troy and his prices are way better than you can get by buying direct from IDI. Anyone looking for Arctic Armour items contact Troy, he has a website with the stuff he sells listed. Troy is located just outside of Grreen Bay.

That maybe good advice but you can be certain about your purchase by looking any 'dealer" up on idigears website to see if they are legit! Idi does sell direct but i guarantee you it's going to cost alot more, but it's your choice you got to feel comfortable with your deal. It's always best if you can buy it locally where you can try it on and take it with you of course, some people don't have the luxury of a dealer close by though, so we are here to help!
