Repositioned my OLD Jiffy Ice King Model 1111 Ice Auger last weekend. THOUGHT I had it back on the hook.... until it came straight down from the rafter, fell on it's side, and destroyed the plastic fuel tank. Attempted to melt cracks together NUMEROUS times to salvage, but still.... drip, drip, drip. Do you still have the power head(w/gas tank) that you offered to the other guy looking for a gas tank? Just FYI, my current tank is 11" long/4" at mid-pt./5" on ends/5 1/2" outside clip to outside clip. I would DEFINITELY reimburse you for any ship charge! I've been SICK since it happened! If not, I'll cobble something together, because after a 5' drop onto the point, it "popped right off". They DON'T make stuff like that anymore! Got 4 months to figure SOMETHING out.

The 3hp tank is Tecumseh part number: 410273, $36.87 with the new style fuel cap. We keep them in stock.

Be glad to help if you can't get something worked out with your other offers. Still some really good guys on L.L. Nice to see.

Pailfull, If nothing works out for you I have a tecumseh 3 hp power head with gas tank. It is brand new condition. It was donated for a small engine class at work years ago. It looks exactly like my older Jiffy. I'm not sure what the original use was for this motor. Tecumseh tag has 2 numbers (710243) & (6322) You can have it all for free if it will work out. Green Bay area. Good Luck. S.J

I got a brand new gas tank from a Jiffy that I found laying around in a box on the basement. Where are you from or I could even send it to you. Ill get a picture and see what you think first.

Did you try at some small engine repair shops? They usually have a few junked Jiffys lying around this time of year.

Can you see the leak? Try some Pig Putty... good stuff.

depending on how handy you are, check out other manufacturers, check out other makes and rig up one to work, they are all vacuum fed to the carb. any should work.
