Pretty common issue, got the same with my scrambler and trailblazer, my sportsman has some rear with foot pedal, i never dug into the issue because I would rather break hard with all 4s and the fact you get use to just grabbing the break lever. good site. www.atvconnection.com. polaris forums are great just use the search after you join you will find your answer's

Had the same problem with my daughters 03' 330 Trailboss......bleed and bleed again. I bleed the lines at least 4 times before I got the pedal back. If you have two lines going to the rear caliper, pinch off the opposite line w/ vice grip (lightly) as you bleed each line. Worked for me at least.
