Learn More

Lake-Link in your pocket. With the launch of the new site, the mobile experience came first. Desinged for the best moblie experience possible. Lake-Link now offers a what is called a Progressive Web App (PWA). Works just like an app from the app store but without a download, and install process or updates.

One big complaint by users is that on the fishing report pages that people would go off on other topics other then reports. Now you can start new lake specific discussion topics and easily get to them from the fishing report pages or the Lake Finder pages. Just click the MORE DISCUSSIONS tab.

We have had a lot of requests to offer a Member's Only discussion area. Well we now offer that for Lake-Link Pro Members. You can now start a discussion topic and mark it as "Pro Only" and it will be limited to only other Pro Members like you. Learn more about Lake-Link Pro.

Easy Access. When using Lake-Link on your mobile device you will see a green toolbox icon in the lower-right corner. If you tap on that button a menu will pop up for easy access to Lake-Link Tools such as quick access to your favorite reports or discussion topic, an area map, nearby lakes, fishing forecast an more!

Get more in-depth weather details for each lake. Current condtions, hourly and extended forecasts, radar, wind map/forecast, sunrise/sunset times, moon phase calendar and pressure trends. Just click the blue "More Weather" button located near the top right of each water body page in our Lake Finder or Fishing Reports sections.

Find out what lakes are near a specific city. In the past you searched for a lake by county or tried a search by name. Now you can type in the city name and you will get a list of lakes around that city. Here is an example for Rhinelander, WI.

Hate Ads? Ads unfortunately are a necessary evil to keep the lights on and the servers running. But one of the many benefits of being a Lake-Link Pro Member is you can opt for an ad-free experience. Just go into your Account Managment section to turn them on or off.

Need to get away? Spend a day, a weekend or the entire week relaxing near the lake! Now you can find lodging options for each body of water. Just click the "Places To Stay" bar on the lake info page or fishing report page.

Hungry? Thristy? Well now you can find food and drink near the lake. Just click on the "Area Places To Eat & Drink" bar on the lake info page or fishing report page.

Planning on getting out at first light? Full Moon coming up? We now have the sunrise and sunset times for each body of water down to the minute. We also show the current moon phase. If you click/tap on the sunrise or sunset times you will get a time table for upcoming sunrise & sunset times as well as dusk and dawn times. Click/tap on the moon phase and you will get a monthly moon calendar.

Server maintenence is always a challange. We upgraded components and software on our servers which brings better speeds and more stability to Lake-Link.

A new way to communicate. We know that Messenger has always been a challenge and we have stumbled a bit on this part. We re-did the entire Messenger system where it resembles more of a chat application than an email style application.

You can now report a water temps for a body of water without having to go through the fishing report process. Just click the "Report Water Temp" button near the top of the page of the lake details page or the fishing report page.
