The Timbers Resort
We invite you to come and vacation on Lake Gogebic, Michigan's largest inland lake, lies at the far western end of the Upper Peninsula. With abundant opportunities for fishing, hiking, hunting and winter sports, Lake Gogebic is a four-season vacation gem that - for all its attractions - retains the peaceful atmosphere of a small Northwoods community, untroubled by traffic and crowds.
Located on the north end of Lake Gogebic in Bergland, we are in the far western end of the Upper Peninsula. A year round Resort, we offer 11 completely furnished cabins that accommodate from 1 to 10 persons. Two 128 foot docks with bumpers offer abundant space and protection for our customers boats. 14' & 16' Fishing boats and motors are available for daily and weekly rental.
We also offer RV and tent camping down by the lake. Power is available with external restroom (outhouse) facilities. Live bait is sold on the resort grounds and a well kept lighted fish cleaning house is ready for your use 24/7.
Our Cabins...
The Timbers Resort is located on the north end of Lake Gogebic in Bergland Michigan and has eleven comfortable housekeeping cottages that will sleep from 2 to 10 guests. We offer both daily and weekly rates. We have changed some cabins over from double beds to twin beds to accomodate our customers, yet still have many cabins with queen beds for couples and families.All of our cabins are fully furnished with kitchens, cable TV, playground, guest laundry facility and boats/motors rental. Pets are welcome and we are open year round.

About Lake Gogebic Area...
Lake Gogebic's 13,380 acres of prime fishing water teem with walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, jumbo perch and whitefish, providing both catches for the novice and challenges for the veteran angler.
