Price County is located in north central Wisconsin midway between Hayward and Minocqua. Price County is home to a variety of natural resources. This native abundance provides endless recreational opportunities such as snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, biking, horseback riding, golfing, canoeing, boating, fishing, hunting, camping, and ATV riding.
With hundreds of miles of trails, 147,000 acres of Chequamegon - Nicolet National Forest, 28,500 Acres of State Forest Land, 90,000 aces of County Forest land, and 18,000 acres of water, including 388 lakes, 92 classified trout waters, three major rivers and six county parks - it is not difficult to understand why your next adventure should be in Price County.
Price County is home to a variety of wildlife. There are many trails, country roads and wilderness areas which provide opportunities for you to see some of the many wildlife species native to our area.
