Northfork Sport Fishing's home port is the Kenosha Marina. This area of Lake Michigan provides the best charter fishing in the Wisconsin waters of Lake Michigan . The season begins in early spring and runs through late fall. Large numbers of Coho salmon, Chinook salmon, Lake trout, Brown trout and Rainbow trout can be caught in these bountiful waters, a fact that is proven with Kenosha charter boats catching the greatest numbers of fish of any Wisconsin port on Lake Michigan year after year.

Our large, comfortable boat provides a smooth, stable ride, protection from the elements when needed and yet is open enough for all aboard to enjoy the weather when it is at its finest.

Captain Kris Davis
Kris's fondest memories from childhood always include a fishing rod in his hand. With his Dad as his "guide" he creek fished brook trout, fished walleye in the Boundary Waters, and explored the back waters of the Mississippi River for bass. He became "hooked" on Great Lakes fishing as a young man. Chasing "big fish on big water" became an obsession. He has over 10 years of experience on Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.

Kris has always enjoyed the the "experience" of fishing. The anticipation of a day on the water. The excitement of the "catch". The fun of being out on the lake with friends. His "best" fishing days have been introducing others to the magic of Great Lakes fishing. The smiles and excitement when bringing a fish to the boat for the first time. The laughter and complaints of "tired" arms. The solitude of the trip back to the dock.

Captain Davis enjoys the challenge of fishing on Lake Michigan. No two trips are the same. The weather, water conditions, and fish temperament are constantly changing. Great Lakes fishing is a riddle that Kris loves to solve and share with others!

Captain Kris is a US Coast Guard licensed captain and is first aid/cpr certified for the safety and security of all on board

• 5 hours = $450
• 6 hours = $540
• 8 hours= $680

What's included in my trip? All fishing tackle and gear will be provided. The only additional charges you may have will be fishing licenses. your fish will be clean for you.

What do I need to bring?

• Coolers to take your fish home in (fish cleaning available)
• Soft Soled Shoes
• Weather Appropriate Clothing
• Food or Beverages (there is room aboard for your coolers)
• Sun Screen
• Cameras for pictures of your trophy catch

The Boat:

In 2013, Northfork Sportfishing Charters purchased CORKSCREW, she is a Luhrs 290 Tournament Open that is outfitted with twin 350 Marine Power engines, Raytheon Radar, brand new state-of-the-art Raymarine fish locator/GPS, Simrad Autopilot, Big Jon downriggers and all of the tackle necessary to boat huge catches of salmon and trout. With a very comfortable cabin below deck that includes a stand up head with two large couches and ample seating above deck both in and out of the elements there is plenty of room for groups of all sizes to have an enjoyable experience on the water.

Corkscrew is also US Coast Guard inspected, fully insured and is fully outfitted with all of the mandatory safety gear including class I PFD's for all passengers.
